* Leaders also hold the quality of respect. They try to treat others how they would like to be treated. They follow the Golden Rule. They don't just demand respect, but show that they deserve it.

* Good leaders are goal setters. They have the ability to set goals that are clear, understandable, and attainable.

* Leaders try to include creativity or innovation into the goals that are set.

* Good leaders also try to keep everyone involved in the strategies that they have implemented.

* Another one of the most important qualities of leadership is encouraging ethics, values, and integrity to flourish in the workplace.

John Quincy Adams defined a leader as someone who inspired others to dream, learn, do, and become more. If you move people to do these things, you are probably on your way to becoming a great leader.
