Let's face it; we need to do our part to save the environment. Well, if you own a car or have heard the news, there is something called hybrid cars? What exactly is a hybrid car? Do you know? Well, if you don't, do yourself a favour and read on.
A hybrid vehicle generally, is a vehicle that uses two or more distinct power sources to propel. There are certain common pwer sources they are: on-board rechargeable energy storage system (RESS) and a fueled power source, air or human powered bicycle with electric motor or gas engine.
However, most hybrid cars are commonly referred to as hybrid-electric vehicle (HEV). This includes internal combustion and electric motors. So, what exactly is a HEV?
A HEV vehicle commonly combines a conventional propulsion system with RESS. They combine these two to achieve better fuel economy.
HEVs are considered the premium for hybrid cars. Thus, this tells us that they are more expensive. This is usually due to the car having more electronics and also extra batteries. However, some hybrid cars are considered more expensive because of their design. One important thing to note is that when you sell your hybrid car it is not the same as selling your normal car. The selling price depends on the usage of the car.
Do you want to drive a hybrid car? I know I do. Well, there is only one obvious answer on why I would drive a hybrid car. It is because I want to save our one and only planet. If you have a chance to drive a hybrid car, take it. Hybrid cars ae fun to drive!
So, other than being environmentally friendly and fun to drive, why should you get a hybrid car instead of the conventional car? I am going to tell you all the benefits of driving a hybrid car.
We all know that the price of fuel is just going up. And, with the higher standard of living, not many can afford. You have to trust me on this as it is proven that the fuel consumption of a hybrid car is much lesser than a conventional one.
Would you like to have a car as durable as a range rover? Well, I know I would. The gasoline engine and the brakes are very durable, almost like it has never been use before. Other than that, the cost of replacing a hybrid car's battery is close to nothing because it is almost never replaced.
So, do you want to drive a hybrid car? Well, I have an answer for that. Within a decade, it is estimated that the market will increase its production of hybrid cars to three million. Toyota, the most popular hybrid car maker will increase production to a million in a shorter time frame.
Now that you are armed with this knowledge, I suggest that you should atleast consider getting a hybrid car. If you cannot afford it noe, you can get it in the future. Remember, we have to do our part to save the planet.
