Have you ever asked why people love to ride motorcycles? It depends on who you talk to as to why they ride. Motorcycles may indeed cost less than cars, but you do not want to ride in the rain so you usually need a car too. Also motorcycles require a bit more maintenance than a car. The biker does need to be dressed right for riding. A helmet and other protective clothing should be worn.

Did you ever wonder why the motorcycle rider wears leather? Leather is extremely waterproof. It is also more durable than other materials, which helps protect the rider in a fall. Not all bikers wear leather however. Some prefer are the newer clothing that is made of fabric like Kevlar.

Now let's go over what you need to do to enjoy your motorcycle. Learn how to maintain the bike appropriately. Outfit yourself with a safe helmet and other clothes to protect you.
