When you are trying to get your ex back, honesty counts. You need to be honest with your ex when the time comes for a talk but mostly you have to be honest with yourself.

You want your ex back badly, but do you know why? Many people in your situation react the way they do not from love, but from jealousy.

To be successful in renewing your relationship it has to be about more than just you. Getting back together has to be right for both of you and not just because you can't handle seeing your ex with a new boyfriend or girlfriend.

In fact, the more you are to blame for the break up the better chance you have of getting your ex back.

How can that be you say?

You can't change your ex. So if you bear no responsibility for the ending of your relationship then there is nothing you can change to get your ex back.

But if you are mostly at fault then you can make corrections that your ex can see and that will hopefully lead to reunion.

So take heart and be brave. Look at yourself and your relationship with your ex in hard, honest light and you will be giving yourself the best possible chance of getting your ex back.
