Ways to have more Energy

Many men and women have complained about not having enough energy to perform the things they need to during they day. I am guilty of this myself, big time guilty. I am always saying that I am too tired to do anything or go anywhere. Well, I found some helpful tips to boost energy, they worked for me and I hope they work for you too.
Step one; sleep. Getting too much sleep is just as bad as not getting enough sleep. If you are the type of person who can sleep for 3 or 4 hours and feel fine when you wake up, good for you, but the truth is that even though you may feel fine your brain has a harder time functioning. This makes it harder for you to take in the instructions your boss gives you for an upcoming event.
Step two; reduce the clutter in your life. Too much clutter in your life will cause you to stress about unnecessary things, making your energy level go down the toilet. If you have a clutter drawer in you kitchen, office or any where, clean it out. If you can’t find something when you need it, you start to stress about where you had it last. Throw out the things you need the least. Get rid of the clothing in the closet you will never wear again. I know your children make things at school and you feel obligated to keep it, but really if you think about it, if you have something they made when they were in kindergarten chance are they won’t need it when they are in college, so get rid of it.
Step three; stay hydrated. Drinking plenty of water during the day will help you focus and keep you from feeling dehydrated. By a water bottle that holds 8 cups of water or more and keep filled and with you during the day, when you look at it, take a drink.
Step four; exercise. Exercise in the morning before work will also help you focus on what is most important. If you sit at a desk all day you feel tired and inactive. Exercising will get rid of that inactivity and raise you energy levels, fast.
Step five; lose weight. If you are over weight, or feel that way, you are more making your body work harder to carry around the extra weight. By losing this weight your body doesn’t have to work as hard and you will feel better about yourself as well.
Step six; visit a friend. If you stay at home all day, or go to work and then go home, you are making yourself miserable and you probably don’t realize it. By getting out and doing something you are able to boost energy and when you realize you are boosting energy, you will want to get out more often.
Step seven; break your everyday routine. If you have a way of doing something, change it. Routines are nice when you need them, but when you don’t need them they will only bring you down. Take time to do something different each week or every day if you prefer.
These are the steps to boost your energy levels and feel better about yourself. Try them for one month and you will start to feel better than ever. With more energy you want to do more things, you will want to go to dinner with your spouse, take the kids to the park, or even play outside with the dog. Having more energy has helped me tremendously and it can and will help you too.
