To keep the hair in place, glues, polymers, or clamping devices (such as micro links) are used. This method takes the longest to complete but offers the most subtle results.

When it comes to strand-by-strand extensions, they can be added with an adhesive substance or with the aid of a clamping device, such as a micro link. Both of these methods should be taken into consideration. While using an adhesive substance can make the extensions appear more natural, the clamping devices are obviously much healthier for your hair.
