They will have multiple methods of contact that will be clearly listed on their website or business card and they will return calls and e-mails promptly with explanations if anything takes longer than normal. Communication is important in more ways than just people skills and part of having good communication involves keeping the client informed.

While there are many things that a realtor needs to have to be successful, a good start would be having the knowledge, the people skills and the accessibility that when combined tend to make clients feel at ease.
