A TC ranging between 180-to-500 thread-counts is considered good and often found in most of the stores. However, quality also depends on other technical factors and not just the thread count. So you should not be surprised to find higher count sheets and lower count sheets to have a similar price tag.

Fabric : High count cotton with satin finish is a popular bedding material. It is important to determine the exact percentage of cotton used in the fabric. Sometimes, you may end up buying labeled sheets with cotton tags but actually use little of cotton percentage and in combination of unnatural or synthetic fiber.

Mattress : One of the most important bedding item, mattresses come in two types—spring mattress and regular foam mattress.
